WINDOWS 365 CLOUD PC

As a further recognition and commitment to hybrid working patterns, Microsoft have announced the Windows 365 Cloud PC which will give users a personal Windows desktop experience that can be streamed to any device with a web browser.

This will essentially shift all the heavy lifting from your device to Microsoft’s services and make the spec or platform of the device you’re using much less important as long as you have a reasonable Internet connection.

It’s essentially very similar to gaming platforms such as Google Stadia and GeForce Now that do all the processing in a datacentre and then just “stream the screen” to the end user, but of course this will integrate with your other M365 services.
